THE MOVIE

DREADFUL SORRY is a suspense thriller seen through the eyes of ten year-old Lily Reece Danner. Lily Reece returns to her father, Dr. Conrad Danner, at the family's plantation house after being sent away for seven years during the Civil War. Lily is befriended by Gauche, a man/ghost who knew the mother she struggles to remember. Dr. Danner is plagued by flashbacks of the night he strangled his wife Victoria and threw her body in the river behind the house. Events of that dreadful evening unfold and Victoria's ghost rises from the river to exact revenge.

Director Robert Richmond

In 2010 his research and professional directing credits included HAMLET, conceived a live graphic novel at the National Theatre Conservatory, Denver Center Performing Arts Center, Paul Greene's THE LOST COLONY on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Shakespeare's HENRY VIII at the Folger Library Theatre, DC, and Martin Sherman's BENT at the Lab Theatre, USC.

Screenwriter Dionne O'Dell

Dionne has published aricles on classical theatre in the English Journal and her plays and screenplays include: Everything Yesterday, Phosphates and Fistfights, Make Me Famous, Emerge, and Bottom's Dream. Dionne also worked in Development at Lincoln Center Theater and was part of a team that was responsible for raising $12 million annually.
